My tastes run to the more pulp/populist and I don’t seem to pick up on the deep underlying themes that others do. Many of the podcasts/reviews etc I consume are by long standing members of the industry who are much more qualified to judge the merits of the many, many works that populate the speculative fiction landscape than I am. I’ve recently started to read a few speculative fiction magazines to get a feel for what is current in the genre more generally, so as well as books some of my comments may be on particular short stories or magazines depending on how the mood takes me. On this page I’ll keep track of the things I am reading, with any random comments on particular aspects of the work that strike me.
